Speaking of Disco…
This man is a rock star.
After a week in Virginia for Christmas, we flew back to Denver, and the next morning headed down to Moab for New Years Eve to catch Chris Kalous’ and Lisa Hathaway’s new disco band, Sparkle Motion. Given the theme, it only seemed fitting to get all dressed up in the proper attire. We met up with our friends Amee and Renan that live just outside of town, and then Tracy and Amee headed off to the store to see what they could round up for our costumes. We got some pretty sweet diggs, and soon we were all looking like disco heroes!

The show was excellent, not that you really want to listen to these songs when you are at home, but to see them live is great! Rumor has it this powerhouse of a band may be making its way to Carbondale in the near future, stay tuned…
