As I write this we are traveling at 80 mph on our way back to Carbondale from Yosemite. We might be stopping at Erick Schat’s Bakery in Bishop, as the bread is just too good to pass up! How am I writing this in the car, you ask? Well, I got a new Broadband modem from Verizon which allows me to get internet at most places that have good cell phone reception, so here I am typing away while Tracy drives. Pretty damn sweet.
We had a great trip, got to hang with our friends, climb some cool pitches, and soak in that beautiful place. It was getting a little too hot for my liking, so the Colorado high country should be refreshing. I’ll try to get some pictures up soon, we actually didn’t take that many, I think I was just too focused on enjoying it all and didn’t really think much about anything else!
In the meantime, Peter Beal has a good blog up over at the Climbing Narc about climbing and being a parent. A good read for sure, especially for those of us that aspire to having a family some day.
