Back in the fall, we ran a contest where you could leave a comment about why or why you didn’t wear a helmet while climbing, and you were entered to win one from Petzl. We had some great responses, and it looks like the folks at Petzl liked the idea so much they are doing it themselves. They’ve started a page on their site called Tales from the Edge – Helmet Close Calls, and they want people to leave comments about how their helmet has come in handy. Each month they’ll randomly pick a winner from all the comments and send that person a new helmet.
Everybody loves free stuff, and a helmet is one of those things that can be easy to put off buying, even though you know you should be wearing one. Thankfully you can get one just be leaving a story, so be sure to head on over and enter for a chance to win, good luck!
