I wanted to take a pause from climbing today to help out a friend. His name is David Rasmussen, and he’s a local woodworker (and avid climber) who’s studio burned to the ground back in the fall. He lost over $100,000 worth of equipment, didn’t have insurance, and has been trying to get his feet back under him ever since.
To that end, he started a Kickstarter campaign to help raise money so that he can purchase the machines he needs to replace the ones that burned. With only a few days left to raise the money, we’re hoping to drum up some extra support. David’s work is incredible, and this is a great way to support a good guy AND get some of his high quality pieces at a great price.
