Save Red Rocks
Unless you’ve been under a rock recently, you likely know about the development that is threatening the beauty of Red Rocks. Tomorrow is the Clark County Commissioners meeting at which they will be deciding whether to approve or deny the concept plan for high density development on the mountain in the middle of Red Rock. This could several alter the character of this incredible place. I have many wonderful memories of being high on a route in the canyons, and I hope to continue adding to them when this proposal gets blocked.

Hopefully our voices will be heard and the county commissioners will realize that this would negatively impact one of the most incredible climbing areas in the world!

How on earth can they possibly be trying to do this when Vegas and Henderson are taking a literal beating on the housing market. There’s so much foreclosures and fire sale property this is just ridiculous. What a travesty it would be for this to be allowed, especially considering the dismal housing situation in the area.
