The cirque below the North Face of Pyramid Peak is an impressive place. Towers of rock surround you on all sides, and if you visit in the late spring, you’re likely to hear constant rock fall coming off the face.
In the right conditions, however, there is a climbable line right up the center that follows an obvious gully system. You may be able to scout part of the route from the trail leading to Crater Lake, but you wont get a full picture of the route until you make the climb up into the amphitheater below it.
