Follow the Coal Basin road past the large red cliffs. Just before the big talus field, you’ll see a small cliff leading back into the woods on the left side of the creek. The climb is on this cliff band, and should be obvious. There are two “pitches”, separated by a walk up a gully. Fun, moderate ice. Rap from slings around the tree at the top. A single 60m rope will NOT get you all the way down to the bottom of the first step.
